Everywhere – sidewalk, canal, roadway, bridge, arch, bus stop – that RedBall has been around the world, I first stood there measuring, drawing and picturing the site. Though bound for public consciousness, RedBall begins as moment of private imagination. I bring rough sketches and photos home to my studio in New York to explore the potential of each site with working drawings and studies which are often a mixture of collage and ink. Some of my favorite sites are never realized, and the collages are the only memory of that idea.

The collages are uniques and they are available from the artist or via a local representative. Please contact the artist directly for more information on acquiring collages. Most of the collages are ink, watercolor, pencil, vinyl, on Arches Aquarelle paper, 38×56 cm unframed, and signed and titled on verso.

Partout où Redball est allé dans le monde – trottoirs, canaux, routes, ponts, voûtes, arrêts de bus – je commence toujours par mesurer, dessiner et m’imaginer le site. Bien qu’envisagé pour la conscience publique, RedBall trouve sa source dans un moment d’’imagination personnel. Je rapporte ensuite des croquis et des photos à mon studio à New York pour étudier le potentiel de chaque site, à travers des dessins d’études qui sont souvent faits d’un mélange d’encre et de collages. Nous ne réalisons parfois rien dans certains de mes endroits preférés, et ces collages demeurent la seule trace de cette idée. 

Les collages sont des œuvres uniques, non-éditées, et disponibles auprès de l’artiste ou par l’intermédiaire d’un représentant local. Veuillez s’il-vous-plaît contacter directement l’artiste pour plus d’informations sur l’acquisition de collages. La plupart des collages sont exécutés à l’encre, à l’aquarelle, au crayon, au vinyle, sur papier Arches Aquarelle, 38×56 cm, sans cadre, signés et titrés au verso.
