Our first site in Taipei was the spectacular National Theater that is part of the downtown Chiang Kai-shek Memorial. A bit rainy -turns our curator has a reputation in this area for bringing the rain opening day- but now we are off an running. Feng-hui, Ray, and Ireen were all great on site and really helped in talking about the project. I spent most of my time posing for pictures, will get some of those up later. Also China Daily newspaper stopped by and will probably have something out today, and also Art & Collection (ARTCO) magazine who is covering the project. We even had some groups who dressed for the occasion. Tony (our intrepid filmaker) and I are still recovering from the jet lag, but off right now to a new site for today.
