Everywhere – sidewalk, canal, roadway, bridge, arch, bus stop – that RedBall has been around the world, I first stood there measuring, drawing and picturing the site. Though bound for public consciousness, RedBall begins as moment of private imagination. I bring rough sketches and photos home to my studio in New York to explore the potential of each site with working drawings and studies which are often a mixture of collage and ink.
